Parking

North West Surrey Synagogue (NWSS) is tucked away in a little residential estate. There is a small car park for those who find walking tricky, but otherwise, we recommend parking considerately around the estate. We try to keep a good relationship with our neighbours, so please be mindful of the driveways/corners. There is also an alleyway right by the Synagogue (marked in purple below). Many people visiting the Synagogue park on St Mary’s Road - anywhere between the school and the village hall is less than a five minute walk (yellow highlighting below). Please don't attempt to drive down Horvath Close unless going to the carpark, as it's a small dead-end road and turning opportunities are limited.

There is also a small public car park (Oatlands Village Car Park - marked in green below) off Oatlands Drive. It is a pay and display car park, and you can pay through RingGo, location 15575.  It's probably just under 10 minutes walk from the car park to the Synagogue.

If you think you will need to park in the Synagogue car park (marked in blue below), please let me know and I'll inform those on security duty to look out for you.

Security

As mentioned on the For 1st timers page, there will be some members of our community outside the Synagogue building on security duty. A family member will aim to be outside to welcome you in. Please don’t be offended if those on security ask your name - they’re just trying to keep the congregation safe.
